## Meet SHAD Cabinet

Welcome to SHAD Cabinet, a Windows tool for cabinet production. This short walkthrough follows a demonstration project from cabinet dimensions to cutting lists and sheet layouts.

## Set up the project

Start with the interface language and measurement unit. Name your project, assign a project code, and enter each cabinet's width, height, depth, type and quantity.

## Choose the materials

Choose materials with the correct thickness and sheet dimensions. Set grain direction and edge banding so the calculation matches the boards you actually use.

## Define construction settings

Use Initial Values to define your construction settings, shelves and hardware. Apply the appropriate Lower, Upper or Tall settings, and check each cabinet's front layout.

## Review the cutting list

Update the cutting list after changing inputs. Review part names, finished and cut sizes, material assignments and quantities before generating a new sheet layout.

## Generate nesting and outputs

Generate nesting to inspect each material's sheet map. Review the machining layers, then export drawings, printouts or configured MPRX files for your workshop.

## Work with corner cabinets

Corner cabinets currently use Back Behind Gables, S04. Choose a single diagonal door or two folding doors, and check the selected hinge side.

## Share projects in the workshop

On a shared workshop folder, the first user edits the project. Other users open the saved version read only. Reopen the file after its edit lock is released.
